Aquarium salt dangerous for a water turtle?

I'm not talking about much salt, would be one tablespoon per 5-10 gallons or so.

Would this have any effect on a snake neck turtle? Not sure how sensitive they are, but I want to put him into a tank with some fish that have ich and I'm debating treating them with salt. Won't do it if it's a risk for the turtle.

i doubt it would but im not an expert, maybe try treating the fish in a different tank

The vendors of the turtle said it wouldn't be a problem. And I've already paid them for the turtle so it's not like they've got anything to lose.
 
Should be fine. But just FYI, I find it easier to get rid of ich by bumping up the water temperature for a little while.
