is it safe to use aquarium salt with a flowerhorn? i use aquarium salt everytime i do a water change at least thats what the pet stores told me to do is to keep that stuff in your water

I don't have flowerhorn but I always use aquarium salt. It improves gill function :] or so it says on the box.

It is safe when used properly albeit for treatment or quarantine regimen ONLY.

I would recommend using salt ONLY for treatment of disease and quarantine tanks. But yes it is safe for FH.

how about aquarium salt vs marine salt for freshwater apps? i have heard people saying marine is better
