Aquarium silicone receeding?????

My silicone looks a bit weird and not uniform in my 20 gallon long tank. Its kind of weird, it seems like it is receeding in areas or just disappearing. Ive attached some photos, the tank is only 1 year old. Let me know what you think....

That can be caused by a number of things. Yours looks like either the tank was shifted and/or the glass wasn't clean when they sealed it. The silicone looking whitish like that is an indication of a bad seal job. Was the tank resealed at some point?

I don't see how that can be true. I just bought a brand new 75g a month ago and the silicone on the corners is white too.
