the only small rays are scobina which are very hard to find or the larger hystrix

tank size min for ANY ray is 72 long x 30 wide x 24 deep anything else is just cruel

Teacup ray is really a misnomer for a reticulated ray or orbignyi or hystrix ray. Most commonly offered is the reticulated ray which is much harder to maintain than, say, a motoro. And, the reticulated ray can reach 12-14" in disk diameter so an appropriate large footprint is required for its housing.
