Hello everybody, Im new in this forum. After looking for a while within the cichlids section I discover some members with large aquaria. Unfortunately (following a patient reading over different threads with my slow internet connection of 28.8 Kbps) I still dont know the size of PeacokBass (2000gal) and ashdavid (1850gal) tanks.
I think that for us that keep large cichlids in large set ups it is crucial to know the aquarium size where these fish swim (as much as the population number and the individual lengths). Mainly because in this area of large fish keeping, volume does not mean much by it self. A 68x 68x 68 tank (aprox. 1360 gal) will not obtain the same results than a 200x 48x 32 (aprox. 1330 gal) when dealing with Parachromis spp. (for example)
So, I encourage the forum members to take a second and write the tank size next to the volume. Thanks.
