I'm currently using it to treat a bad case of ich on my large festae pair. Heat/salt hasn't worked and it's getting worse.

I have not used this one but it is another malachite green and formalin mix which means you need to be very careful using it on catfish, loaches, and especially mormyrids. For scaled fish such as festae it is safe if used as directed.

Salt and heat didn't work? What temperature do you have them at, and how much salt?

They were responding the ich-x, but the male was very emaciated. I came home tonight and found the male dead. They were looking much better this morning when I left out. One of the powerheads came loose from one of the sponge filters. This sucks beyond words!

Try using Cupramine it works Great both fresh and saltwater. Its Just Chleated Copper but i found it effective.
