Aquarium stand fit.

I have come across a problem (I think) when putting my aquarium on my intended stand. It's a custom built chest the fits the aquarium perfectly -- except it is a tiny[/i] bit short lengthwise. Splitting the difference leaves about 1/2"-1" (no more) of overlap on each side. Can I still use it? It's the only stand available to me right now. How big of a deal is no more than an inch?

fill it and wait a day and if it doesnt explode u should be fine LOL!

cut a piece of plywood the size of the tank and place that on top of your stand.
