So I was told that aquatic turtles should have a water temperature of 78F but I can't seem to get it exactly on it...it either decreases to 77.8F or up to 80F+.
I was told for turtles with a cold, they should have their temperature to 80~82F.

So is o.k. for my turtle to have a water temp. of 78~80's? even if he is completely healthy?
since i didn't to get it any lower than 78F..

and in the wild, do lakes/pond temperature get slightly(degree or two) colder at night?

its fine most heaters will heat till the water temp around it is what ever it is set at and then give it adequate time to drop a few degrees before it kicks back on to heat the water again...so your temp is always going to vary abit 78-80 is fine...no need to worry

youre fine--one or two degrees really wont matter.. dont sweat it.

haha thanks(phew)
