I recently picked up a leaking 210 gallon tank off Craigslist. I took it to my fish guy to fix the leak and was told that it was a older tank. I also noticed that the plastic trim/frame has been repaired in a few spots and was coming apart in others. My question is canot the frames be purchased a d replaced I stead of making a bunch of repairs to it? This is my first tank of this size, I had a 150 extra high before this one.

Yes you should be able to purchase new frames, you can check online or your LFS may be able to order for you.

Yep,years ago I bought a 125 with a topframe that was made without crossbraces.I found it to be a pita so I picked up a newer frame from a shop.
