pls advice me on how to remove water stains on the aquarium glass. no leaks yet and good sized so im planning on still using it... tnx!

Vinegar. I use a spray bottle but wiping it on with a sponge works too. Let it soak in for a few minutes to soften the stain and then use a scrubbie pad to remove the buildup. It typically takes several applications for very heavy stains.

If CLR is available there, it will work too (just more expensive).

thanks! what is CLR?

It is a product sold in North America for the removal of hard water deposits and iron stains. The letters CLR are from Calcium, Lime, and Rust. I think it is actually Oxolic Acid.

There should be a similar product sold in the Philippines.

i use vinegar and a razor blade-- let that vinegar soak in good and start scraping away.. it has always worked for me. if you use any chemicals (like clr) make sure you rinse, rinse and rinse until you cant feel any film with your finger tips, and cant smell any of the chemicals in the tank before you fill it...
