If the fish's length is longer the. The width, will it not be able to turn? Or are fish really flexable

a fish should NEVER be bigger than the with of the tank it is being kept in the fish should always have enough room to turn around, this question worries me, is your fish bigger than the length of you aquarium?
 
Most fish need to have a tank that is at least as wide as them. A few fish such as arawanas that are very flexible can be in a tank that has a smaller width than there length but for the most part you need a tank that is at least as wide as there length...

+1 but ALWAYS aim for the width to be atlest the length of the fish, preferebly more imo
