Ok so i'm in the prosess of getting a tank ready for a silver aro. I know for the great info here that i need to keep things to a min. My question is infact to do with ground coverage what seems to be the best for silver aros i want to replicate its natural habbitat but also want somthing easy to clean in the way of pebbles sand and ect. Sorry for any mistakes in spelling or anything but the backgrond is white and typing is whit so its a bit hard to see

Black sand and 1 hiding space would be adequate

When you say black sand do you mean the crystlised black grit or acctual black sand.

Arowana don't care what type substrate you have. Get what pleases you. Make sure your lid is tight and secure as arowana are extreme jumpers.

Go to the bottom of the page on the left and change the forum background to a lighter colour. That should help with being able to see what you're typing.

this is what i have in my tank. simple and looks good (to me lol) just some sand, fake plants, rocks and clay pots. i tend to stay away from drift wood because i had an aro that got damaged by it in a previous tank.
