I have a 10 gallon aquarium that has some miscellaneous fake plants, rock, and a pice of driftwood. I would like the maintenance to be easier if possible.
Powerhead in 10g is probably going to cause a whirlpool since the smallest ive ever seen is like 180gph which is a ton of flow for 10g and your angelfish wouldnt be happy. If you switch to a sand substrate poo stays ontop where its usually picked up by a filter.
Also nervous if those are cardboard boxes that is a very bad way to support a light that probably gets bloody hot
One of the bulbs burned out in my normal fixture so I grabbed a different fixture of another tank and propped the fixture on two flag boxes for the picture.
I have sand in the front portion but I have a pebble ridge holding the plants down.
In my 12 gallon reef cube I have 137 on my return pump. Could I get away with a submersible filter or do thing along the lines of a turtle or a reptile filter.
