Aquascaping with sand!

Hello,
I am looking to aquascape my tank with this setup...

I am looking for a sand to compliment that and my wonderful piece of wood. How much sand will I need with the above link in a 29g tank? Thanks.

Howdy,

I wouldn't go much less than 2''. There is no limit for max, e.g. mine is 7'' at some areas.

The sand doesn't have to be deep... You won't need that much for a 29G...
