Aquatic alligator lizard???

Whenever my alligator lizard gets scared she freaks out and slides into the water and go to the bottom and just sit there... Normal? Also she has other better hiding spots.

Whenever my alligator lizard gets scared she freaks out and slides into the water and go to the bottom and just sit there... Normal? Also she has other better hiding spots.

Mine was the same way. She loved to hide in the water, even though she had plenty of other places to hide. Unfortunatly, she passed away. She got gravel caught in her mouth and her intestins.

Nice lizard. The catfish looks to be one of those asian bumbe bee cats. I forgot the scientific name though.
