Aquatic Epoxy/Glue?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have my mbuna tank set up, but I would like to do more intricate rock formations.
I have some granite I bought from this guy (http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/671013364270_W0QQ_nkwZQQ_armrsZ1QQ_fromZQQ_mdoZ) in all larger chunks.

I would like to get some smaller pieces from him and glue them together so that they won't fall over when my cichlids get :nilly:

I want to make a pile with caves up the back of my tank does anyone know if there is something I could use that would not kill my precious fish?

Or does anyone know where I can get some "Texas hole rock" some where near Northern Arizona (The shipping to here from Texas is more than the rock is worth I think.)

Might, but just get some underwater epoxy from Foster's and Smith. green tube of epoxy, bout $6. I glued a piece of broken holey rock together about a year ago. Still holding strong.

The epoxy works awesome. I got mine at the LFS and glued some Lace rock formations.

Better off paying a few extra bucks at a LFS as opposed to buying plumber epoxy at Home Depot that I am not 100% sure is fish safe.

Yeah if I buy anything it would be from the LFS not home depot

I have too much money into this tank to be killing my fish so I may just hold off for now.
I will go and ask my Uber expensive local aquarium setup store if they use anything special and then I will get it at my LFS.
