I have a 180 gallon truvu tank and I was planing on putting shark in it. but the cost is too high right now. What kind of reptiles can I keep comfortable in a 180 (72x24x24) and is there any aquatic lizards I could keep. I was thinking about a caiman but those probably get way to large.

Caiman would be a bad choice . They get way to big for a 180 gal. They need a huge enclosure with a pond.

I am not sure of an aquatic lizard. Something along the lines of a bearded dragon would work.

You could also do a setup with half fish and part land with something like anoles or dart frogs. I am not to experienced with these setups but I am sure some one here is.

I am very interested in Crocodile Skinks, but isn't a 180 gallon tank massive for one? Wouldn't a 10 gallon better suite one? I could set up a ten gallon for one and keep saving for a shark. I will post a new forum asking about info about Crocodile Skinks.

I wouldn't keep a single Croc Skink in anything smaller than a 30 gallon long. You could keep a pair of them in a 40 breeder.

None your tank will get so scratched up you wont even be able to see your animals.

ummm what kind of shark do you plan on keeping? for the most part anything that you have to save up for will get way to big for a 180.

I marbled catshark 18in, Coral catshark 24in.
