I recently ordered a pound from them to get my ray a good start. (btw the ray is loving them) I am only used to blackworms from one lfs, where they are frequently dead or emaciated. I was a little sketched out at first because when you sign up as a new customer you fill out a form allegedly revoking your right to chargeback and they had an aol.com address, but aquaticfoods was fast, easy to deal with, and provided some positively obese worms. I have two complaints though... "fees" amounted to almost 50% (as I expected, they gave some mention of fees). I would have paid the 50%, too. I know how crazy fish go for these worms; they're worth it. They are still the cheapest for 1lb, first time customers. Just raise the price!

There's also a large number of contaminants(leeches i think, i hope not argulus). More than I've seen before. Have other buyers experienced this? is there anything to worry about? Do you continue to buy from them?

K, I have never ordered or even dealt with blackworms, but WTF is that form for? Charge back? Never heard of a reliable company even asking for a form like this. Wish I could help, but I have no idea where to even start. Leeches? Holy crap.......... too deep for me.

I think they just want you to fill out their records for them. As far as the chargeback prohibition, it's sketchy but they sent me some worms. I am just worried that I am going to find tiny leeches on my fish.

The leeches stand out pretty easily, and they die very quickly when kept with the blackworms in the fridge. Keep a close eye on them, as they will kill a lot of blackworms if they die.
