Aquaultraviolet UV question.

I've got an old 8 watt UV that needs a bulb.
My question is: what's the biggest bulb I can fit in the fixture?
And will the larger ballest also work on that fixture?

8W and 15W lamps are the same length. Transformer must match the lamp wattage. Just be careful cuz the Classic Series and Advantage Series are different lengths and are not interchangeable.
I personally would sell what you got and buy another if upgrade is on your mind.
