Aqueon 20 Filter

What do you guys think of the aqueon filters? The filter for my growout tank stopped running last nite so I'm looking for a new one. Thanks let me know. It was an aqueon 20 and I'm not sure why it stopped working..

They are cheap and actualy quite nice i would get it

It's nice and cheap, just stopped working all of a sudden after I unplugged it for feeding time and plugged it back in. Anybody know why this happened?

Ive had that happen with aqua clear and aqua tech filters usually cleaning the impellar and attached parts helps because they can get algae covered which is not conducive towards getting power to the impellar. I use Q tips to clean the mag.

My growout tank has lids and lights. The back of the lids has a small opening designed forf an aqueon 20 to fit and hangover as a filter. If the aquaclear 20 fits I'll get one of those instead.

If you were happy with the aqueon you may be able to fix it . Have you taken it apart?

No, I've been really busy. I just took out the growouts and acclimated into a different running tank
