I just drilled my tank and have 2 one inch drain pipes going to my sump. I put an Aqueon 3000 pump in my sump to a 3/4 return line. The pump overpowers the drains and I have been forced to dial it back some. But with a 4.5 foot head off the pump, shouldn't I have more than enough drain flow that i shouldn't have to reduce its output at all?
