Aqueon 55/75 Media?

I was thinking of switching out the cartridges in my 55/75 and with a ceramic ring media bag and a bio balsl media bag? Or instead of the bio balls should I get carbon media bag? What do you guys think is the best for clear water with the most beneficial bacteria?

Id avoid carbon, go with the ceramic rings; or a good old sponge imo

What about rings and bio balls?

instead of sponge, i use the 2'x2'x2" bulk foam from home depot. just make sure you can feel the air on the other side when you blow against it.
