I basically have over 400 gallons of tanks and waterchanges with 5 gallon buckets takes forever. If I get the aqueon waterchanger with 50ft hose, would I be able to siphon the water from the tanks in the basement up the stairs into the sink, or would I have to drain it into a big trash can and use a submersible pump to pump the water outside the basement window? With the aqueon it would atleast make adding the water much quicker/easier. What do you guys think?

If you can find a way to raise water without a pump u r a genius! Pump needed for lift

I have the exact same one. It siphons up the stairs but waste a lot of water from the tap in doing so. The attachments are cheap plastic and broke after 4 months. I would just get the faucet attachment and 50 feet of tubing from HomeDepot because that is what I end up doing.
I would drain or vacuum the tank water into a trash can and pump it up the stairs with a submersible pump.
Can't speak for the Python.

To save water I would just do as you suggested and pump the water directly out of the basement window. However you may want to place the outlet of the hose a little distance away form your house's foundation. I would imagine you would not want gallons of old fish water right beside your house.
