Aquiring an Australian Lungfish?

I am sure this thread will get shut down as being in the wrong place.

I want to get an Australian Lungfish. I contacted the breeder in Australia, Ceratodus, and was told I would need an import license. I am sure that is something I don't want to mess with for a single fish. I know they cost, but the after cost takes it through the roof for a single fish. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to go about doing this? Are there other people that would be interested in sharing expenses? PM me if you are one of those people. I figured if this was in the Marketplace not many people would see it since they are almost never available.
