Aqurium Sand

Just wondering if you can get cheaper sand that is suterble for a aquarium that is not over priced crap. Thanks Karl

Pool filter sand. $8 per 50lb where I live.

I use play sand. Its fine but I wash it well and have no problems at all.

On my 60 gallon lake malawi cichlid tank I used 2 bags of play sand from walmart it looks good just be sure to rinse rinse rinse and if you think your done rinsing rinse again haha it only cost like $2.50 a bag

Black sand looks awesome, but just be aware that its a pain in the arse to keep it looking clean.
