Arachnid Advice

Hi all, I have a sub-adult mexican redknee tarantula (B.Smithi). He was raised eating crickets. Recently I bought Dubai roaches at a reptile expo but the tarantula won't eat them. Should I just keep trying or just switch back to crickets...which i really hope i don't need to do. Thank you.

The dubias tend to be too slow to get the spiders attention , what i would do is poke the roach to make it run and get his attention.

what roaches do you recommend? i know the turkish are speedy ones.

Im surprised it wont eat them, are they too big, or do you put too many at a time, that can stress them out, and maybe its just not hungry, getting ready to molt or cool down.
