I hope others will find this interesting, I do. And I know I will learn a lot during it, & maybe others will too. I hope you guys that know your stuff can give me honest feedback on what you see so I can start to have an eye for things... I have bought 2, and getting a 3rd Araguaia Azul. Each one was bought from a different vendor representing the sale as WC Araguaia Azul. So I am going to start a thread with pictures of all 3 of them as they grow, showing their similarities, differences, and hopefully getting discussion that I can learn from. This should be cool!

As we have seen over the years....almost all azuls regaurdless of collection point look very similar. I remember ado124 had a few diff collection points together and you couldnt tell the difference. The guys is sg are breeding f1s in their ponds as well as hybrids now. It seems they have a few oddball azuls w/ less than 5 bars pop up every now and then. SOmething you dont normally see from normally from wild breeding cichla....atleast I cant recall too many oddball azuls.

This is the Araguaia Azul I got from Fishheav3n a few weeks back... They are actually very similar in size, but this one has been here a while & getting lots of food. It looks like they have some different characteristics...??

I appreciate the compliments. I am enjoying them & learning by the day. I agree about the top azul... I can't wait to see it after I spend a few weeks fattening it up & it gets comfortable in it's new setting...
