Hi
After an extended break from the hobby, picking back up with fish that I was most fond 11 years ago.
Was surprised to find Kelberis that cost over 400USD back then are now 25USD or less!
Bagged a shoal, took them home and started reading up on the net.
Interesting to learn successful breeding had brought down prices, as well as interest, due to inbreeding.
Nice looking fish none the less. Look different to a couple other kelberi that i got from a different batch/LFS.
What are your opinions on what type of cichla these are?
- Same Batch
- About 7inches
What throws me off are the Orinoco-ish lateral blotches. A couple of them have little or no spangles, vertical bars that don't run topside.
