I just ordered 3 aral barbel from predatory fins and I want to know their minimum temperature tolerance. I do know that they are from a region of Kazakhstan that apparently has cold temps. It gets down to -20 f here and it looks like it gets down to about that there too. My information might be wrong, though. If they are from a cold climate, then they will be going into a deep outdoor pond. If not, then they will stay in my 2000 gallon basement pool pond. I would prefer them to go outdoors. I understand this was kind of an impulse purchase, but if they can't live outdoors then they'll be totally fine in my indoor pond.
