Arapaima gigas vs. Atractosteus spatula ( coexistence )

Hello fans!

I have one question for you. I keep fish Atractosteus spatula (alligator gar). I decided that I would add to the tank - Arapaima gigas.

They can be together in one tank? They will not attack each other?

yes it's possible but...u need a really big tank hahaha

If given the proper space yes of course but most average tanks no the gar will scar the gigas. The gigas will out grow the gar. It will work though if given the proper home.....(BIG *** TANK/POND).

Yes.. I personally had seen such a combi b4.. as what mentioned above.. you really need a huge tank/pond to do so.
