Dont treat them any different than other species. Offer pellets, market shrimp, tilapia or smelt. Avoid live feeders. Worms, crickets and the like are all great treats.
A big thing to think about is their power. Everyone will mention how big they get and how you need a huge tank/pond. They are very powerful fish and if you dont give them the space they need they will be able to bust out glass well before real space constraints

Alright thank you I just wanted to make sure I feed mine pellets and jumbo krill, and ya I know it's a very big and powerful fish but it is very beautiful mine will have a pond soon

O ya I would have never got him if I didn't research it first I love the big fish that's why I joined the group I fully support any monster fish keeper
