The gigas is not hard to raise but when larger is hard to move, not just because of their size, they are reportedly quite vulnerable to stress. The biggest problem in raising them is having room. Your area probably would allow outdoor unheated pond culture but the pond should be at least 2 meters deep, 8 meters wide, and 12 meters long for adults.
