Just got back from a 4 day business trip. Got these guys just a day before i left.

it's a dorado, about 4-5" in length.

I had noticed the one fish in particular swam upwards and his back seemed to arch upwards compared to the other one. i thought this was just a defect. But having been gone 4 days, it appears worse. I know what crooked back is but this is different. Please let me know if this may be an issue.

thanks.

Ya know what's funny, that happened to my fish too. One day out of now where, my Aulonocara Blue Neon Peacock gets an arched back like if it was broken or something.

I don't know, but I have a feeling it's a nasty worm or something that is inside of him. I waited for about 2 months and treated with everything and it never changed. It seemed like he was handicapped, hurt, really bad. I just put him out of his m.

Good Luck,

Richard

i had a dempsey that had a bent back but it was from the side. come to find out it was some sort of parasite that i needed penicilin for, by the time i knew it was too late.

I told you it was some sort of Parasite or worm. I had never ever seen that before. I hope don't ever see it again.

hmmm... it's real slight. Normal person wouldn't noice "slight".when i got home the lights were off, more apparent then. now he's darting around similar to 5days ago.

May be i should try the penicillin. never used this before. will it harm the fish if there's nothing wrong with them in first place?

thanks
