Hello all,

i am in the process of setting up a brackish tank and i was wondering if i have to much flow for archer fish. i have an 80 gallon tank, with an over the back filter and a fluval 403 canister filter. i have a spray bar for my outlet and i have it submerged about 4inchs under the surface in order to keep the surface still for the archers. the other fish i plan on keeping in the tank are orange chromide cichlids and a dragon goby, mainly for bottom clean up. does this filter put out to much flow for archer fish? any advice would be much appreciated.

I have fluval 405 and a HOB on my archer tank, the flow is not too much for them. However both of my filters go vertically into the water so there is not too much horizontal current.

It should work, if not then just remove the spray bar.
