archer fish size!

was wondering the true max size of the archer fish cuz ive read from 15 to 40cm! if uve got any pics to share of those big ones please do so! thanks! will post 1 of my archer later

okay first of all no archer fish gets 40 the biggest is 30. seondly there are 7 different species of archer. some ar fresh some brackish some both and all the sizes are either 15 or 30 cm

Doesn't the toxotes chatareus get to 40cm in the wild?

yeh but they average out at 30. like barras some get 120 but some get 200cm and also sizes vary from sources. plus i doubt that most people can get fish to grow to wild size in an aqaurium.
