really want my archer fish to spit but i dont know how to get it to i have read that not feeding them makes there insticts kick in but i dont want to stop feeding my fish any ideas ????

When I was at the National Aquarium in Baltimore, they had a tank with some Archer fish in it. The aquarium employee just held a stick out with a cricket or some kind of bug on it. If it stayed on the stick long enough, the fish would shoot it down with water. It was actually pretty cool to see.
You're going to need to hold some kind of bug over the top of the tank for the fish to "spit".

Just dont feed them for a short while. Theres a big difference between starvation and mild hunger.
