Archer Fish

he he and I thought my old oscar was bad for splashing me when I fed him, I cant inagine getting spit on by a fish so I will feed him :ROFL:
 
My LFS has a school of these that are about 4" long...rescued them from a banks display tank. He now has them in his display tank in the store. Tank is not even half full of water with lots of vegitation over the top half of the tank. He takes crickets and puts them in the branches over the tank....stand back and watch the show!. It is really impressive how far they can shoot water, and how precise they are with their aim. Cool fish..to really enjoy them you need a set up which shows off what they are named after!
 
archer fish r easy to find! where i live they go for $6-$10. ohh and yes u can keep them in your aquarium. i use to have 7 of them and like. i kept them in a tank dat was like wat freshwater tim discribed.
