what is the minimum tank size for an archer fish?

I would say something along 50G should be regarded as the minimum tank size for these fish. They tend to like atleast another member of their own kind and they commonly reach 9" or so in the tank

well i dont think ill be putting one in my 20gallon

They grow about a foot long as adults, and do need their room. Yeah unfortunately, a 20 is too small for them
