Hi all i have a nice big archer which has progressively got worse, I think it is some kind of fungus though im not sure.

Some parts are fluffy and are breaking off, other parts are free of fluff but just have a white outline of the scales (i dont know might be tiny fluff but yeah)

I have added some salt.

I tried to get some pics so here goes.

What salt did you use? What is your salinity? It is bacterial infection, not fungal. Bacterial infections in BW and SW fish are more common when they are kept in FW for long periods. It's time you adjust your salinity to BW.

I am using aquarium salt, at least thats what the bag says.

Hmm i have kept it in salted water since i got it but im not sure how much my other fish can handle, i also dont know how salty the water already is.

Tankmates are TSN,CK,2 archers (1 got a tiny but at first but it cleared up quick), 1 pleco, salmon tail cat, and a barramundi.

What do i treat with?? :S

Ditch the aquarium salt. This is not the appropriate kind of salt for brackish to marine tanks. Use the marine salt, get a hydrometer and get rid of your other fish that are not meant for brackish to saltwater conditions.
