When archerfish are brought into a store, they're most commonly labelled as
Toxotes jaculatrix, which is the same species as
T. jaculator. T. jaculator is just another for
T. jaculatrix - they're one in the same.
In a lot of the cases, when a shipment of
T. jaculatrix comes through, it may also contain several
T. chatareus, which is often confused with
T. jaculatrix. Both can live in the same water conditions (mildly to strongly brackish), and both can be kept together in the same tank.
All Archerfish species (family Toxotidae) pretty much have the same body shape and colouring, with some slight variation between the species. The patterning is the one way to tell for certain - T. microlepis looks a little like T. jaculatrix, although they have some banding towards the lower parts of their flanks and occasionally some spotting between the main banding - look that

Toxotes jaculatrix is a brackish species.
Toxotes microlepis isn't often found in brackish water, preferring a freshwater environment.
