Many BW fish go back into FW to spawn.

How long would the adults stay there? How about the fry? Archers specifically.

These farmers are proving that the fish can thrive in full fresh.

I had my archers spawn in FW several years ago. Nothing became of it at the time b/c they were in a holding area getting ready for a move into a display. Archers are a rare beast that can be kept full fresh or full salt. Georgia Aq keeps archers in their big reef display.

they look like different species than the ones we get in pet stores

This is what I love about this forum.

I have a 180g folr that I have an archer in. Every place I looked only listed brackish or fw, a few hinted at them being able to go full sw. So I slowly put this one from brackish to full sw and it has done well.

Thanks for posting up the link to the fw archer thing.
