Archerfish on feeders?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Although feeders will probably be taken (especially surface swimming type), but if you're talking about LFS feeders, do you think its worth a gamble introducing some kind of parasite or disease to its tank?
Store bought feeders are often not held, or raised in the most optimum of conditions, to keep the buyers cost down, the chance of them being compromised is often high. And all it takes is one.
If you are raising your own feeders, that's a different story.

I always thought that they ate smaller fish as well as bugs.I doubt that there are nearly enough insects that just happen to be waiting around to be shot down and eaten by the world's population of archerfish.

There are certainly are enough roaches in my house to feed them for their whole lives!
LOL! I remember staying overnight at a buddies house when I was a kid.We decided we'd have cold cereal for breakfast and when he opened the box a few roaches scurried out.....no Corn Flakes for me.

Lol! I had a bad experience too: I found a cockroach halfway through moulting on my damn toothbrush... Uggggggh
