Im having a problem getting my archers to eat, Im not sure what my lfs was feeding them but I've tried nls and crickets with no luck. Wondering what the issue could be or what you would recommend for food preferably not live its just kind of a pain having to go get live all the time.

How long have you had them? Sometime fish need sometime to adjust to their new settings. With archers you just need to make sure the food floats as they don't really look down for food.

Also, tank is brackish right?

Yes the tank is brackish. I've had them for about 2 weeks now I have yet to see them eat.

give em time. They'll eat. It took my native months to eat anything regularly, but they were wild caught.

Can you call the store and find out what they were given?

Try floating food. My archer loved floating krills and pellets

i had a single archer once. he would pick up carnivour pellets from the ground by flipping on his side like a flounder

Bought some crickets today and they ate them just fine, but I'm really looking for a suitable "canned" food. The pellets I have float but they pay no attention.
