I would say that mudskippers and archers can be done. I'd make sure the skippers are at least as big as the archers.
Whether crabs can be kept with these fish, is an often asked question.
I think there is a profound problem there. Crabs are a stable diet of both of these fish in the wild. There's a lot of data of people ending up with no crabs or crabs with no legs in the tank when kept with mudskippers. Even with crabs considered "as big as the skippers".
Having kept archers almost a foot in length, I think no crustacean is truly safe with them.
There's not many things I'd love more than adding Ucas into my mudskipper tank. But I just won't.
