archers shooting

just wondering if theres any tricks to getting your archers to shoot for food. ive been trying with crickets, and its like they want to shoot they just arent going right to the surface its like they are scared lol.

Get fresh shromp or some other food they really like. Stik it to the glass right at the waterline, repeat several times. Then raise it higher and higher. They'll jump to a point, then will spit. Never fails. . .

I have seen someone smear some blood worms on the glass to get them to shoot

I use frozen krill and hang them from the lip of the top brace. Since they're normally in a "U" shape I just lower the water line a couple inches and they usually shoot them down.

Very fun to watch.
