Hi all,

Are 12 hour Brine Shrimp still nutritious to feed to angelfish fry?

Also after the 24 hour they hatch and get a batch for feeding the fry. What should I do with the remainder? Leave them in the hatching jar with air? Take all the brine shrimp out and put it in jar with salt water and no air bubbles? If I put them in a jar with no air bubbles should I refrigerate? I will use them after 4 hours and another batch after almost 6-7 hours. Then I think they will loose the nutritious value for the angelfish fry.

Can I feed the adults with the baby Brine Shrimps that are 12 hours old (almost ate all their egg sack)

Usually I use some in the first 24 hours. That is when part of them hatch. I let the rest hatch in another 24 hours. You do have to make new ones every day so you have a constant supply of bbs. You should make enough to use them all up. Keeping them alive after you take them out is not easy. You can refrigerate but most will die but still usable for the first day. I would use them in larger angelfish fry. The new born or younger frys should be given the live ones. Good Luck.
