are all cichlids interbreedable?

is it possible to mate flowerhorn with oscar or frontosa? is there a rule like africans with africans etc.? i am just curious.

I'm not an expert by far, but I would imagine that trying to cross breed a ca/sa cichlid with an african wouldn't be possible.

I know you can cross breed most of the ca/sa fish though. There is a thread somewhere with all the various mixes. My favorite was the JD/Tex.
