are ALL rays illegal in california?

are there any species that arent illegal? maybe somekind of coldwater ray or somthing. i desperately want one

i think all fresh water ray are illigal. salt water ray.....i don't know

salt water rays are legal here, its only the "river rays" that are illegal (i'm pretty sure all freshwater rays are river rays)

There is the St. Johns river stingray from florida those are legal but from what I've heard are hard to keep and there is also the asian river rays but samething for those and not just that but very expensive.

there is a legal freshwater ray...Dasyatis sabina (atlantic ray). californias list only includes river rays which are of the family of Potamotrygonidae. atlantic rays can be brackish, marine, or FRESHWATER. time to get me a ray...

theres only one type of fresh water ray thats legal in cali its the florida ray its rly ugly and hard to ship tho
