are archerfish cichlids?

HI, i've noticed that archerfish look quite similar to cichlids, i know that cichlids live in asia africa and the americas but what about australia?
are archerfish cichlids?

Not cichlids, and they are brackish.

There are some Asian cichlids in addition to the typical African and American but nothing in AUS
