Are Bichirs Related to EELS??

I know this may sound as a dumbass question but are bichirs related to EELS????

You should do some bichir taxonomy research for the database you hope to build on the primitive fishkeepers site They are not closely related to any eels, although some uninformed shops label them as eels occasionally (though petsmart did switch to "dinosaur bichir" as opposed to "dinosaur eel" now for their senegals)

Ok cool. Thanks I thought Bichirs were NOT related to eels and I was right. I was just doulbe checking.
